 And once again there has come the long-awaited day - the next outdoor seminar of the russian fist and hand-to-hand fight school "Sibirskiy Viun" in the small town Siddinghausen.
By tradition the arrival has begun on Friday evening, 28.05.2010, and has passed, as always, a little bit in vain: the settling of the camp, including the installation of tents and activation of the fire at the fire-place, the organization of the kitchen service and the camp-guarding teams (yes, we really have such things, too!). Then visitors have started to approach "from far away": from Belgium and the distant corners of Germany - Baden-Baden, Leipzig, Berlin and Cottbus. And the camp once again has become alive - the meeting of new people, the exchange of information and impressions - some people in fact did not see each other more than 6 months. After dinner the trainers and instructors have left on a meeting - it was necessary to discuss organizational questions, - the others have gone to gain strength for tomorrow's training.  The first day of a seminar has begun, as always, with a warm-up, a douche in a stream and a breakfast. By the way, being interested each time in the opinion of participants on douche, I receive always the same answer: before douche there are doubts (everyone his personal), and after douche - there is a huge inflow of energy and good mood :-). The seminar has begun with acrobatics, games with a cord and exercises on concentration of attention. According to the topic of the seminar "Hand-to-hand fight. Control points" there have been in detail considered "the forming of the opponent by the unit of forces and impacts", plus "the control of the opponent in dynamics and ways to unbalance him using several points".  At the end of the first day a pleasant surprise awaited the participants: they received the first theoretical knowledge on the descent on a cord, including the information on the safety of these exercises and some marine units, and could practice these things. In the evening there was a barbecue with "Schaschlick", discussions of the first day at the fireplace and songs accompanied by a guitar. Next day the nature, which has pleased us the day before with good weather, has changed: the day has become rainy... Nevertheless, there have been considered "the defence in limited space", "the protection against several opponents" and "the defence with a keeper". At the end of a seminar the participants have expressed their wishes and offers and have received certificates.  The administration of school thanks all participants of the seminar, especially Valentina Balandin, for the tasty cooked food. Up to new meetings! |
